TRAVEL - AYANA Resort & Spa Bali
Bali is about Sea, Sun, and Sands, so spend my holiday in Bali is not complete without staying in ocean view resort. It doesn't take long for me to decide where to spend the last 4 days of my holiday to relax and doing absolutely nothing. AYANA Resort & Spa Bali it is!!
Obviously I had looked at plenty of pictures of AYANA Resort & Spa online while planning holiday, but none of them prepared me for the insane beauty I saw when I finally arrived.
The views from nearly everywhere on AYANA Resort & Spa are breathtaking. beauty exists at every corner. The resort is built along a cliff and faces west so you get amazing views of the sparkling blue ocean and a front row seat to some truly epic sunsets.

I spend my first 2 nights at Deluxe Ocean View Room. The room is spacious and have an elegant Balinese decor. We had a balcony running the length of the room, a stunning ocean view, and an enormous bathroom. The bath was filled with rose and frangipani petals that were very fragrant and there were an aromatherapy burning candle beside the bath. The bathroom was supplied with large, thick fluffy white towels and there was a generous variety of toiletries and necessities.![]() |

The room was stocked with six bottles of clean water with a note if more water is required additional bottles would be supplied complimentary. A small basket of fruit was delivered every day along with a couple of containers of snacks.
I had lunch at Sami Sami Restaurant with a beautiful ocean view, it was a sunny day and it just make it better. The food is good, the staffs is very friendly, the view is breathtaking. I spend almost 2 more hours after eating just to have chit-chat while enjoying the view.

On my first day at AYANA I decided to go to the world-famous Rock Bar. Rock Bar is definitely one of the coolest bars I ever visit, we have to take an inclinator to get down the side of the cliff to the bar and the line before sunset (aroun 4pm) is super crazy. Luckily, they have a VIP line for AYANA guests so I felt super cool when I were escorted to the front of the line. The sunset views here are so beautiful.
On my Second day, I went to Kubu Beach. Kubu Beach is a private stretch of white sand beach that available exclusively to guests of AYANA. There are 197 steps down to Kubu Beach (note: going up is not as easy as going down, LOL). I really enjoy doing absolutely nothing there, relaxing on a chaise lounge in shaded bamboo cabanas with complimentary coconuts, cold bottled water, and snacks. I love that almost everything is complementary here!!
Later that day, I take a dip on Ocean Beach Pool. This saltwater infinity pool have the ideal location to experience all day beach front bathing with brilliant ocean views. This pool are well-staffed and the staff are nearby should you require bottled water, a snack from the bar menu, shade cloth or additional towels. At the Ocean Beach Pool we had a perfect afternoon of relaxing with swimming, eating burgers, until watching the sunset.
The Villas at AYANA Resort Bali
It's my 3rd days and we're moving to The Villas, YAY!!
As if AYANA Resort & Spa wasn’t enough to take in, we moved to Ocean Front Cliff Villa. It's insane!! The villas at AYANA is provide each villas with a butler and his golf cart shuttle service, our villas was very spacious with private pool and a bathroom almost bigger than the bedroom itself. It is a pure, peaceful luxury. Dreams really do come true!

Last day of my stay and I am trying one of my favorite features, the Floating Brunch. The Villas at AYANA really takes eating to a whole new level, breakfast in bed is officially old school.
I am obviously spending a fabulous time during our stay, I spent whole days lounging at the pools, I watched the sun set from a different spot each night, I also enjoyed the complimentary food and drinks. AYANA was the perfect spot to end my holiday, I am still thanking God that I somehow ended up at
this beautiful place.
